We Believe...

God

God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. There is one true Godhead comprised of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All are co-equal and co-eternal (Matthew 28:19; 1 John 5:7). Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead (Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1, 14).

Jesus Christ

In the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, sinless life, and in His miracles, in His sacrificial death on the cross of Calvary, His bodily resurrection and His ascension to the right hand of the Father, in His personal future return to this Earth in power and glory to rule and reign. (Jn.1:1-4; Eph.2:13-18; Rev.Chpts.19-20)

The Holy Spirit

All believers are entitled to and should fervently expect and earnestly seek the promise and gift of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the command of Jesus Christ. With this comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry: This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth (Luke 24:49; Acts 1:4-8; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 10:44-46; Acts 11:14-16; Acts 15:7-9; I Corinthians12:1-31).

The Bible

The Bible is both the inspired Word of God and the revealed will of God (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews 4:12).

Man

Man was created in God's image and likeness. By voluntary transgression he fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Genesis 1:26-31; Genesis 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21).

Salvation

Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. On the cross Jesus Christ became sin and sickness providing salvation, healing and deliverance for all mankind (Psalm 91, 103:3). This salvation comes through repentance and by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord. (Romans 3:24; Romans 10:8-10; Ephesians 2:8, 9; John 3: 16, 17; 1John 1:9).

The inward evidence to the believer, is the direct witness of the Spirit (Romans 8:16). The outward evidence to all men is a life of true holiness and love (1 John 3:23; John 13:35).

Salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ and not by human works; however our works are evidence of our faith and will determine our rewards in eternity (Acts 16:3; Rom.10:9-10; Rom.14:10-12; II Cor.5:10; Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 3:5-7; James 2:18).

Hell

The one who physically dies in his sins without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire and therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal. The terms "eternal" and "everlasting", used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the Lake of Fire, carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God (Heb. 9:27; Rev. 19:20; Rev.20: 10-15).

Water Baptism

Baptism in water is a declaration to the world that a believer has died with Christ and that they have been raised with Him to walk in the newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4).

The Church

The Church is the Body of Christ. Each believer is an integral part (Ephesians 1:22; Ephesians 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23).

The Eucharist

The celebration of the Lord's Supper by eating of the bread and drinking of the cup is not only a remembrance of the death and resurrection of Jesus but is the essence of His life and power for the believer. (I Corinthians 11:24-30; John 6:48-58).

The Atonement

Healing and deliverance is for the spirit, soul and body and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands. It is provided for in the atonement of Christ on the cross and is the privilege of every believer. (Mark 16:17-18; James 5:14, 25; I Peter 2:24; Matthew 8:17; Isaiah 53:4, 5; 2Timothy 4:18).

The Return and Reign of Jesus

Blessed Hope: Jesus is coming again to gather all His saints to heaven (I Cor.15:51-52; I Thess.4:16-17; II Thess.2:1).

The Millennial Reign of Jesus: the return of our Lord Jesus Christ with His saints from heaven to rule and reign for one thousand years on earth is imminent as the Scripture promised. (Rom. 11:25, 27; II Thess.1:7; Revevelation 19:11-16; Revelation 20:1-7). After this, there will be a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation21).
